The rider from Monselice, born in 2004, took his first steps on a motorcycle at four and a half years old. From the age of eight, he began competing in the Italian minimoto championships.
At 13, he claimed the CIV Pre-Moto3 title. The following year, he finished 5th in the European Talent Cup.
In 2019, he competed in the JuniorGP Moto3 World Championship while also taking part in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, a competition he continued in the following season.
In 2021, he raced in the CIV championship, finishing 2nd, and concluded the Rookies Cup in 8th place.
He made his debut in the Moto3 World Championship in 2022 with QJ Motor Avintia; over the next two seasons, he rode for Team Snipers, further consolidating his experience in the world championship.
In 2025, he made a significant step forward: in the first nine races, he secured two pole positions and one podium finish (3rd place), demonstrating strong one-lap pace and growing consistency in race conditions.
Determined, technical, and competitive, Matteo now represents one of the most promising Italian profiles in Moto3.

Joel Esteban has emerged in the Moto3 scene as one of the championship’s most impressive substitute riders. During the season, he was called up to race with different teams, first with Tech3, then with Aspar, and again with Tech3, demonstrating remarkable adaptability and immediate competitiveness.
In 2024, he made his full-time debut in the Moto3 World Championship, beginning his journey in the category. Throughout 2025, he took part in selected World Championship races, alternating his commitment with the JuniorGP championship—a choice that allowed him to continue working on his technical development and performance consistency.
The results achieved confirm his potential: the fourth-place finishes at Phillip Island and Portimão represent his best results of the season, supported by solid performances in JuniorGP as well, where he stands out for consistency and maturity.
After the experience gained and the work carried out in JuniorGP, Joel Esteban now presents himself ready for a new phase of his career in Moto3, with the goal of establishing himself consistently among the leading riders in the category.
