The Qatar Grand Prix represents the first of 21 scheduled challenges, to which the Italian team arrives with excellent results achieved in 2022 and 2023; the common objective is to do even better, taking advantage of the solid basis laid over time and the shared working method.Â
Alessandro Tonucci, Team Manager: “The 2024 season presents important innovations, including relevant technical notes: KTM brings advanced and renewed Moto3s and the tyre supply belongs now to Pirelli. During the tests we realized how much work there was to do, but we immediately turned fast. We could just say that in Jerez the lap record was lowered by around 2 seconds. We have in Stefano Nepa the confirmation of the team, who has been with us for three consecutive years: physically he is expressing very well, physically fit, in the preparation tests he proved to be very fast. Although we were not at our full potential, the promising results give us hope. Nicola Carraro is the new entry to the team, with potential yet to be discovered. From turn to turn we will strive to find full competitiveness quickly and following a solid method. Starting the championship in Qatar is always fascinating and exciting; we are all happy and motivated for this new challenge as Level Up MTA Racing”
#82 Stefano Nepa: “The 2024 season is starting and I’m arriving in great shape and ready to face a long championship that will give us lots of satisfaction. During the winter time I recovered full physical shape, so I feel ready to fight for prestigious positions in the Qatar race! We are counting on preparation tests in which it was necessary to know the characteristics of the new KTM and the Pirelli tyres, understanding that we are already at a good point: we will be willing to join in more often.”
#10 Nicola Carraro: “Finally back to racing! Over the winter I prepared intensely, training hard and completing important test sessions together with the team. The relationship established with the team immediately proved to be good, as was the confidence on the KTM: we are ready and excited for the Qatar Grand Prix, which will be raced on a track yet to be discovered for me. The news doesn’t scare me, because my goal and that of the boys is the same: to do very well, giving my all from Friday to Sunday.”
