The Le Mans Bugatti Circuit, located in the French countryside and known for the 24H four- and two-wheeled races, is also home to historic and prestigious Grands Prix, to which a huge crowd of passionate local and international audiences always arrives. Track where Stefano Nepa restarts the race for the Moto3 podium, approached several times, fixed goal in the mind of number 82: to win a trophy on Sunday, the primary mission is an excellent qualifying session, to then attack with conviction in the decisive contest. Similar task for Nicola Carraro, brilliant rookie in Jerez de la Frontera: entering the top ten again would mean reiterating the clear progress made since the beginning of the championship, in the amalgam found between KTM and Alessandro Tonucci’s team.
Alessandro Tonucci, Team Manager:
“The upcoming weekend is really important for us, by virtue of the recent double top ten achieved in Jerez. In Spain Nicola Carraro had a great race, I know he can repeat that. Our rookie can repeat himself, while Stefano Nepa can aspire to the podium on Sunday, having the experience and speed of the top of the class. These are two of our objectives for the French Grand Prix, to which we arrive recharged and motivated.”
#82 Stefano Nepa: “I feel full of energy and focused, intending to achieve much more than what I have achieved so far. The team and I set ourselves the task of improving the qualifying phase, from which to get the best possible starting position. Le Mans will serve as a hunting ground and a global step forward.”
#10 Nicola Carraro : “Here we are back on track, I can’t wait to start the French Grand Prix. I raced at Le Mans a long time ago, it was 2019 in wet conditions and for a few laps, but this fact will not limit me. The good race held in Jerez gives me great confidence to improve further during the season, starting from the Bugatti circuit.”
