The already high level of the Moto3 class in Germany is further burdened by the penalties imposed on a large part of the grid, a decision forced by an unorthodox conduct conducted in qualifying to as many as 13 riders in the category. Three Long Lap Penalties, one for Stefano Nepa, two for Nicola Carraro. The LevelUp-MTA duo is called to the proverbial reaction of character, counting on the excellent references recorded over the weekend. The Panther, tenth with a time of 1’25″706, will start from the fourth row, promising to take advantage of the great pace expressed in practice. For “Nico” the possibility of entering the points exists, supported by the nineteenth starting position.Â

Alessandro Tonucci, Team Manager: “We will serve three Long Lap Penalties, but this was not the problem on our Saturday. We lacked performance and speed, which will absolutely need to be made up for tomorrow. Stefano is competitive and in shape, so he will be able to exploit the potential seen in practice and for most of qualifying. Nepa can catch up with the leading group, playing for an important result. Nicola will have to serve a big punishment, knowing he will have to get back on top with great character. Carraro can also move the rankings, because the points zone is reachable for him.”Â

#82 Stefano Nepa, P10: “I was already in Q2, despite today’s weather conditions being harsher than Friday. Unfortunately, during the decisive attempt in qualifying, an avoidable punishment arrived. In the race I will have the opportunity to remedy the Long Lap Penalty, making a prompt start and setting the good pace expressed in practice. I’m excited and convinced that I can stay in front.” Â
Â
#10 Nicola Carraro, P19:  “It’s a shame about the results of the qualifications, which saw us punished with two Long Lap Penalties. While trying to beat the clock, I also fell: fortunately only a harmless slip. Tomorrow I will respect the sanction, giving it my all, because the desire to react remains intact.”
