CATALÁN CREAM: LEVELUP MTA READY FOR THE SIXTH GRAND PRIX 2024

Catalunya Grand Prix coming up, to which LevelUp MTA Racing arrives ready and determined, for a sixth challenge in 2024 full of meaning. The track located half a step away from Barcelona is home to a first and historic pole position signed in 2023 by Alessandro Tonucci’s team, which has increasingly grown in terms of professional characteristics and competitiveness. Stefano Nepa, Nicola Carraro and all the KTM-equipped staff want, first of all, to reverse the difficult trend suffered at Le Mans, turning it into effectiveness between tests, qualifying and the race. The goal of returning to the top of the Moto3 class is as declared as it is reliable.

Alessandro Tonucci, Team Manager: “Montmelò is an important track for us, where we achieved our first world pole position last year. We come from a complicated Le Mans in terms of results, but promising in terms of lap times: Stefano Nepa and Nicola Carraro were fast in France, but they reaped less than they sowed. We have a clear objective in mind that is within our reach, that is, to fight in the leading group and, ambitiously but realistically, finish as far ahead as possible.”

#82 Stefano Nepa: “I’m really excited and determined to make a strong recovery after the difficult weekend spent at Le Mans. I want to start strong already on Friday morning, improving the use of the soft tires, immediately attacking the track, time trial and opponents.”

#10 Nicola Carraro: “Finally we leave for Barcelona, where the Catalunya Circuit is located just a stone’s throw from the city. I really appreciate the track, on which I have several points to improve: improving in free practice, guaranteeing me direct access to Q2. The goal of working well in close contact with the team is the same as usual, indeed, higher than ever.”
